many years ago a dear friend of mine ,Gaz (he works for CERN, based in one of the London colleges), has a dream in which he was at a supermarket who were selling Swarfega 'loose' - as in, by the lb. He had scooped up a big handful and was looking for a bag to put it in..
Apparently the dream went on.. after he had bagged and paid for the gloop, he got on his motorbike to ride home. Dashed thing wouldn't start, so he got off to look at it only to discover it was a very large pair of pliers...
